This month of April has been very busy with lot’s of new spray tanning entrepreneurs coming from all over the United States. I am just so surprised that so many other states don’t have any well trained airbrush tanning technicians yet.
I wanted to introduce the latest spray tanning technicians that have been trained during this month of April.
Navia came all the way from New York and she is actually the youngest spray tanning entrepreneur I have ever trained. She is only 17 and her father came along with her to make sure that she gets proper training so she can have a great reputation as a spray tan technician. To my surprise, she was so talented even with the first spray tan she ever did. Even the models that she spray tanned here commented on how well she did so I know that she will do so well in New York.
The next certified airbrush tanning technician is from my local area here in Los Angeles. Mayumi is an esthetician and already has clients in West Hollywood. Mayumi wanted to learn airbrush tanning because many clients always ask her for it so she finally decided to learn it and is now offering it in her business.
This is Karla from Newport Beach, CA and she is actually opening up her own location/studio in Newport Beach. I’m waiting for her to provide me with some pictures of her studio. Beach areas are great locations to have an airbrush tanning business.
This is Jessa from a small town in Kentucky and her town (Henderson, Kentucky) does not even offer any airbrush tanning. She is so excited to start her business and I can’t wait to see how popular it will become.
Next is Audrey who came from San Diego and Audrey has been a stay-at-home mom and has focused on raising 3 children. Now that her children are grown she is ready to finally focus on her own and starting her own business. She loves the beauty field and this is why she decided to start her own airbrush tanning business in the San Diego area.
This is Tracee is she came from the Atlanta, Georgia area and she has been a massage therapist for so many years and she needed a new challenge. She also realized that her town does not have many airbrush tanning places. Recently she went to a local place to get an airbrush tan before going on vacation and they did not spray tan her hands and feet. She had to walk away with white hands and feet and this is when she knew that she needed to look into learning this trade professionally. Yes we do spray tan hands and feet and Tracee now knows how.
This is Marianne and Lauren who work right around the corner from my own airbrush tanning business in Studio City. Marianne has been an esthetician for 20 years and already has an established client database who come to her frequently. Many of her clients were asking for spray tans so she decided to learn it so she can offer it. Lauren also works in her salon and since Marianne is very busy she decided to have her as a backup. They just finished their training this week and have ordered all their supplies so that by next week they can start offering spray tanning to their clients.
The month of April is not over yet and I have many more students coming from all parts of the country. I am so looking forward to training more. If you are reading this and are interested in learning airbrush tanning, please feel free to read through our site here or also read www.1DaySprayTanTraining.com which gives more details about what is included in the training. This weekends students came from Texas. Amanda is from Dickinson, Texas and Barbie is from Laredo, Texas. Both of them are long-term friends. Originally, Amanda wanted to learn how to airbrush tan and then she told her friend Barbie about it and then Barbie got interested as well. They both decided to get into this venture at the same time but work in two separate cities. Barbie was originally only interested to learn airbrush tanning so she could tan herself since she has very fair skin, but after going through the training this weekend, she is actually thinking now about doing it as a business too in Laredo, Texas since that city does not offer any airbrush tanning services.
Amanda is a nurse and has a little son and she now wants to build her spray tanning business in Dickinson, Texas. They both had an opportunity to use different spray guns during the training and are going home today to purchase everything so they can get started next week.
At the Hollywood Airbrush Tanning Academy we give you the opportunity to test out different spray tanning machines and guns before you buy. After the class you can then decide which machine and gun you like best and then purchase the machine directly from a distributor. We don’t sell you anything – we just give you the education on spray tanning machines and spray tanning solutions so you can then decide on your own what will work best for your situation.
As you can see from the above picture, wearing a mask during spray tanning is very important and I also always talk about protection for you as well as for your clients. Plus the FDA also has recommendations that we should follow. The above masks are only good if you are spray tanning in a very good ventilated environment. A different mask has to be used when spray tanning in a closed up room and I share all of that with my students during the spray tanning training class.
